"Born and raised in Birmingham, I moved to Atlanta shortly after graduating from The University of Alabama to assist in testing the software platform for the Olympic Games. This led to my technology position at S1 which I held for the next five years.
Shortly after September 11, 2001, I traded my career in the corporate world for the opportunity to help people finance their homes. In a short period of time I worked my way from marketing assistant to vice president of Mortgage One, where I continued to build relationships and value until 2008 when I joined Shelby in our current venture at Southern Capital.
In the meantime, I managed to marry my dream-girl and become the father of three, two boys and a girl, for whom I have sacrificed my addiction to golf, among other things.

A preacher’s daughter born and raised in Ellijay, Georgia, I met my husband in high school and we still reside there today. We have a puppy named Marley who is our only “child” and is spoiled rotten. My passions are UGA football and reading anything I can get my hands on. I graduated from Kennesaw State University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration Management and worked in loan administration until coming to work for SCMG.
